About this template
Each row has space for a chore and the person responsible, followed by seven check circles from Monday to Sunday. There are enough rows for a whole household, from making beds to feeding the pet. At the bottom, write the reward the family earns when the chart is full, which gives kids something concrete to work toward. Start a new chart each week, and rotate jobs so nobody gets stuck with the same one.
How to use it
- Keep chores small and specific: “empty the dishwasher,” not “help in the kitchen.”
- Match chores to age; younger kids do better with two or three daily jobs.
- Let kids tick their own circles; it's half the fun.
- Agree on the reward together before the week starts.
